Back from the great state of Texas

My lovely wife and I pulled into my dad’s place at 3 a. m. after a 17.5 hour drive from Texas.

The drive was long, but uneventful. My only encounter with a State Trooper was at the Florida welcome center. He was a dog lover and wanted to say hi to my dog. When the dog jumped up in the driver’s seat, the trooper asked if the dog was going to drive -after all, he had a dog license.

I told him I’d let the dog drive, but I’d hold his leash ‘cause I’m not crazy.

  1. Glad you got back safely and that you had Brownie help you drive. It sure was a pleasure meeting the three of you. Wish you didn't live so far away.

  5. That's just up the road from my dad's. However, I'll be back in NH by the middle of April. Maybe we'll get a chance to meet in person next winter. Hope all of us will be doing well by then.

  8. Small world indeed! Our friends from Flint, who are visiting this week, lived in the same town as your Dad. She was describing the are where he is.

Just to keep life interesting, today Sweetie decided to change his mind about a property when we're ready to sign.

I'm not in a good mood & hopefully he comes to his senses before we lose the best place in that little spot - with regard to condition, price, turn key, etc.

The sicker he gets the more he tries to control everything & the stranger his ideas.
