Snow for kids and dogs

I've a granddaughter and a dog that are rather fond of snowstorms. There's something special about Christmas vacation and fresh snow. The world is transformed. Everything is new and different.

As an adult, it does me good to watch them and remember. Otherwise beautiful snow is noting more than shoveling and slippery roads.

There's hot coffee by the wood stove, so it's all good.

  1. It's great to watch grand kids playing in the snow with pets, and no worries. Enjoy another cup of coffee!

    1. You have to get old. Growing up is optional.

    2. On the contrary, getting old is optional too, but the other option is dying young, and that frequently goes with the option of not growing up.

    3. True enough! Nobody want's to get old, yet few want to die young.

  3. The innocence of children makes me wish that we could just once see the world through their eyes again!

They do look like they are having a blast!

  4. Love that fresh fallen snow, but you can keep it up there and if I miss it enough I could come up and see it. Don't want it here.
