Long days and many miles

Sorry about missing a post yesterday. Somehow I lost track of the days. My lovely wife is visiting family in California and I've been crazy busy. In the past week I've driven over 1200 miles for one thing or another. Between road trips I've had company over last weekend and tackled a few house projects.

I'm beat.

Somehow I had some crazy idea that I'd be doing some fishing this week.

Ha!

What I am going to do right now is put my feet up and read a good book.

Later.

  1. A good piscatorial book no doubt. Moby Dick comes to mind...

  2. Sounds like a plan to me - just what I intend to do more of when I retire ...

    1. Someone gave my dad a tablet. I showed him how to download free books. Now he's reading more books than he ever did in his life. Just finished all the Sherlock Holmes books.

  3. I just bought a book this morning at Hastings. Hastings is a very large book, music, etc store down this way. I always find something to read at that store.

    1. The closest bookstore is two towns over and it's tiny. The next big bookstore is over 120 miles away. Good thing there is Amazon.
