. . . according to Ryan Hall, that is.
These storms don't have to travel across the Atlantic so the lead time is much shorter.
If you do live in a hurricane area being prepared is just something you should do all the time.
Right now, as I write this, it looks like the Florida Panhandle is in the bullseye. This could be a major storm so be prepared.

There are better weather channels on u toob
ReplyDeletethan the Sensationalist Ryan Hall.
He is fun though. However, even the rather dry weather channels are predicting a major hurricane.
DeleteJust got back to the coast and home now. Spent the last week out near Holopaw in the woods heading towards the big lake. Test flying the little Nomad camper. Worked fabulous and Yamaha powered AC, refrigerator and all utilities 24/7 for about ten bucks a day in fuel. Course it has a gas range too and pressure water.
ReplyDeleteMost comfortable I've ever slept in the swamps here.
Left the trailer and canopy set up with a screen room underneath. Even have a covered spot for my ATV trailer and generator. Couldn't even hear the little Yamaha Genny running inside the camper.
Come to town and hear tell of a storm possibility... Meh , was beautiful today and the storm hasn't even started spinning yet. We'll see 🤔 might have to go back out tomorrow or Friday to babysit all the canvas , ten by twenty canopy. Lot of sail area. Tho has six big screw anchors holding it down. May have to reef and furl...
