I’ve been staying at my daughter’s house while recovering. Still making progress, but still have a ways to go. Drugs have me feeling a bit loopy so it’s good that I’m so well taken care of.
The hot water tank in my house failed while I was in the hospital. My son-in-law and a plumber are changing it today. I’m going to need that before going back home.
Also a number of family members are working hard to make my house more recovery friendly. Lot’s of reorganization and rebuilding going on. I guess I’ll know exactly how much when it’s all done.
I’ve another doctor’s appointment on Thursday.
Not doing much but getting better.

Said another prayer for you. Hope all goes smoothly.
ReplyDeleteSometimes recovery is a marathon - not a sprint. Hang in there. Adding my prayers to those of Gorges.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to hear that your family is looking after you so well. Prayers for continued healing.
ReplyDeleteWe have a propane on demand hot water heater. Don't guess that would work for you? So glad you have a helpful family. You are in good hands for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe important thing is to let the family help you for a change. Concentrate on healing and getting better.
ReplyDeleteAnd many thanks to daughter for updates.
ReplyDeleteMega cold blast on top of hospital recovery. Double whammy. Hope your leg amends quickly.
ReplyDeleteDang spell correction.....mends.
ReplyDeleteHang in there. Some bumps in the road are tougher than others, and this one is a booger. It'll pass.
ReplyDeleteRemind us how you injured your legs in the first place
ReplyDeleteDad’s still healing and making progress! We are working on the house a bit. One goal is to get him a workstation where he can elevate his legs more often and keep on writing. The healing process is a marathon, but you’ll be happy to know he’s looking for a tow vehicle and dreaming up future sailing adventures.
ReplyDeleteFollow up with the doc is Thursday.
Keep the good vibes coming.
Thanks for the update!!! Good to know he's thinking future adventures :) One foot in front of the other and soon you will be up and over the bump in the road! Here's to future happy sailing. Hope your mom has recovered from her illness/flu.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Mom is better, too!
