Hunkered Down

We made it as far as southern Maine. My friends suggested we stay two nights and wait out the storm. That's exactly what we are doing.

Rather than drive through the nasty storm we are warm, dry, and supplied with good food and drink.

The road trip can resume in the morning, once the roads and wrecks are cleared. We allowed plenty of time to get south this year.

No worries.

  1. Good to read you made it to a safe location to ride out the storm.

  3. I am relieved to know you are with good friends and good food and are taking it slow.

  4. I was hoping you'd find a way to avoid "Grayson". Nice to know you have friends you could wait it out with. Hope the rest of the trip is "boring".

  5. Glad to hear you're headed south. Just saw a boat for sale in Punta Gorda for $4000 "1985 25 ft Catalina sailboat and trailer, 8 hsp Yamaha motor 4 stroke, hardly used, roller furling
swing keel, sails and cushions are in good shape" Have a safe trip.
