I started working on a very involved post, but exhaustion overtook me. In the morning, I’ll look my work over and see if I was onto anything or just spinning my wheels.
My lovely wife and I have been taking care of two 5 year old grandkids -one who broke her wrist a few days ago, poor kid. She’s doing well enough, but nobody is getting much sleep.
Tomorrow we’ll be down to just one grandkid, (the one without the broken arm) and some sleep will make the whole world look a bit better.

TWO 5 year olds - that definitely explain the exhaustion!
ReplyDeleteMy condolences for hurt kid's wrist - maybe that will get him / her out of some homework ? That news might cheer up said kiddo.
My grandaughter is 5 and just starting school in a couple weeks. She's right handed, and the cast is on her left. It could have been worse.
DeleteI always hate to hear about a child being hurt or hurting. One good thing is that they heal pretty fast.
ReplyDeleteThey heal up like superheros. Active kids are going to get hurt. Hate to see it, but it's part of growing up.
DeleteNothing fun about having a youngster with a cast on in the Summer time!
ReplyDeleteSad to hear she was hurt, but like you said it happens to active kids!
She's a tough kid. Sometimes I think it hurts me more than it hurts her.
DeleteHere's hoping you get much needed rest and your granddaughter speedy healing. No fun having an injury at any age, let a lone an active 5-year-old!
ReplyDeleteShe had a good follow up at the doctor's, so things are looking better.
