My lovely wife and I pulled into my dad's driveway at 8 p.m. Sunday. Not a bad trip as far as these things go.
We had a near miss with a snow squall in Vermont. In Virgina there was a traffic delay as a tractor trailer burned up on the highway.
The van ran well. This was the test run of the little boat trailer. One of the straps holding the boat snapped as we went over some rough roads in Pennsylvania, but nothing else was damaged.
So now I'm in shorts and sandals. Things are looking up!

I'm going to wander the south a bit and take it from there. 2020 might be a tad too long away from the kids.

ReplyDeleteI didn't mind winter before my lungs were damaged. The best way to survive winter is to get out and play in the snow.
DeleteEnjoy the warmth. Wishing you fair winds and calm seas.
ReplyDeleteSo far soo good . . .
DeleteRough roads in Pennsylvania!?!? Imagine my shock... no, try harder... okay, a smooth patch, that would be shocking....
