Under the weather

I’ve been under the weather the last couple of days. It appears to be some kind of stomach bug. My lovely wife is just getting over it herself. It really knocked me for a loop. Just to make things interesting it hit while I was dealing with pulled back muscles.

While I’m better today than yesterday, I’m far from all better.

Last week, when I was actually feeling good, I went to a long overdue checkup. Today I got my test results back from my doctor’s visit. I haven’t had a physical since 2019 when I briefly had health insurance and it was covered. I was relieved to see the results were good. Not bad for old fat guy.

Once this stomach bug sorts itself out I’m resuming a diet and exercise program. It’s got to be done if I want to keep having fun adventures.

  1. Hello 6 Bears, hope you're feeling a bit better. Don't know your symptoms aside from stomach bug but I hope your keeping well hydrated friend.

Rice water is good for gastrointestinal issues. Tends to calm down vomiting and keep you somewhat fed and hydrated. The plain rice and chicken diet keeps me going when I can barely keep anything down.

Whole chicken soup :-) My Goto for almost every feeling off or poorly.

Immune system and for that matter all systems work better fully hydrated.

Get better. A slow day tomorrow with the expected snow.

    1. Can't be covid,he's had the jab. According to Dr . Pedo joe and his lackeys, you can't get the covid if you got the jab . Check it out.

    2. The "Jab" doesn't keep you from catching it. It keeps you from being Dead.

    4. Comadre Misfit would it annoy you if I posted a few links to Dr Fraud and the SDS actually saying the Vaccine would prevent you from getting COVID?

Even better would you actually admit your incorrect?

    6. I tested negative for covid. There's been something going around. Might have caught it from my granddaughter. It's been going around her school and she came down sick soon after I saw her.

  4. John the reports from England and such don't support that view. The Jabbed are more likely to get COVID than the unjabbed.

There is some hope in the Japanese research in eliminating the Jab damages if you're interested. Japan outlawed the jab early as reports of heart issues and immune issues came up.

  6. We all make our vaccine choices. I don't want to debate that all over again. Besides, my views on vaccines in general make everyone upset with my views.

  7. Just offering options for those that are seeing disturbing facts. I'm not an anti-vaccine person, I'm medical and have several full vaccine records from my military adventures.

So far, my TDAP has done an excellent job of protecting me from Tetanus and Diphtheria even though I've been injured by rusty metals and exposed to Diphtheria. My smallpox has worked well even though I've worked in areas in Africa where smallpox is real.
